Emergency Food Network (EFN) is Pierce County's nonprofit food distributor. Every month, EFN provides a network of 75+ partner food pantries, meal sites, and shelters with over one million pounds of food. In 2026, EFN's Partner Programs are receiving 350,000 guest visits on average, representing record-high need for the fifth consecutive year.
EFN's goal is to strengthen Pierce County's emergency food system by distributing 20 million pounds of food in 2026. As of August 31, they had provided 12.4 million pounds to their Partner Programs, putting them 62% of the way toward their goal. Food drives add diversity to the food EFN distributes. Help ensure that everyone has access to nourishing food by making a donation today. EFN distributes 2 meals for just $1, so your gift will go a long way to address food insecurity in our community.
