We are fortunate that we have a such a generous community. Over the past several years, we have been able to help those experiencing food insecurity with contributions of food to the Jackson Street Food Bank as well as funds to support organizations that can leverage our dollars to purchase even more food! Our hope is that we can ask our community during this year's High Holy Days to give a contribution of $18, $36, $90, $180, or any amount that works for you, to the Emergency Food Network (EFN). EFN has been a program in Pierce County since it's inception in 1982, eventually becoming a part of Associated Ministries in 1985. In 1991, EFN became it's own stand alone non-profit, with the knowledge that hunger was an issue we needed to prioritize.
Thank you for your contribution and we appreciate what it means to help those in our community struggling with basic needs such as food.
